LapTopRadio is a real nomadic radio: broadcasting irregularly on the internet with a most simple dispositive: a laptop with a modem connected to the mobile-phone net. If there is a mobile connection, we can broadcast. The old dream of independent pirate radio (but now on the internet) is coming true.
Radio is provided with its cloak of invisibility, like any other medium. It comes to us ostensibly with person-to-person directness that is private and intimate, while in more urgent fact it is really a subliminal echo chamber of magical power to touch remote and forgotten chords.

A concert, open mic, open keyboard, all in a cave: olmspace.com In the forest of Neuchatel, under a high way's bridge, in the middle of nowhere, some battery's car, will feed the musician's laptops and the soundsystem with electricity. The event will be streamed on LTR. This event will open our Hyperactivity project for CAN. - Beware, it's a Dark Moon night: NEW MOON, may 14th 2010.

Thursday, december 10th, 6 - 9 pm: Shopping Mall at Milkshake Agency, Milkshake Agency, Zonoff, Dasein and activeRat invited to a wild shoppingcenter with products and new editions by activeRat, Chroma Press, Dasandereselbst, Dasein, Edition Fantôme, Greyscalepress, Panorama, Ripopée, Wildrfid, Zonoff... LapTopRadio did a live-stream with (experimental) Muzak and pieces by Carla Leon, Renaud Loda and Roman Urodovskikh that evening.

The team
benefited from these days and did some fragments for «radio rood» of Moritz Ebinger at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (http://www.radiorood.nl/). Our starting point was the period in which all seemed possible in the early Soviet Union: artists and writers dreamed their red constructivist and futurist dreams.
Nearby the main radio station, this castle of steel, where clouds of wires spread like hair, there will certainly be sketched a pair of bones, a skull and the well known �«Danger» sign, as the shortest interruption of the transmission of the Radio will cause a mental crisis of the whole country, will cause a timely loss of consciousness.

We used raw material, texts and sounds of these times, such as texts of Lenin, recordings of Majakowsky, Chlebnikov, the Red Army choir etc.
